A very rich culture is available in Portuguese as well. Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, and other countries have a huge cultural manifestation. What's a Podcast and how do I get the lessons?

According to Wikipedia a podcast is: " ...a media file that is distributed by subscription (paid or unpaid) over the Internet using syndication feeds, for playback on mobile devices and personal computers. Like 'radio', it can mean both the content and the method of syndication. The latter may also be termed podcasting. The host or author of a podcast is often called a podcaster."

We chose to use the podcast format because it's a very simple and flexible way to publish something on the internet. If you have a podcatcher (i.e. Itunes) you don't even have to go to any page in order to download the file, the program does it automatically every time we publish a new entrance. So there are many ways you can get the lessons. You can download them by using a podcatcher, go to a Podcast directory and listen to the podcast there if available, or you can go directly to the BPP page and listen right there.

Brazilian Portuguese Podcast was designed to help your Portuguese in some basic ways:

• Grammar: Lessons about grammar are exposed in a simple and efficient way to help you to keep the flow of the language.
• Pronunciation: In every lesson we'll help you with pronunciation by repeating the words and phrases nice and slow, as well as in a natural speed by a native speaker.
• Vocabulary: In some lessons you'll learn new vocabulary with detailed information about each word, and vocabulary differences from each region of the country.
• Conversational: In this kind of lesson you'll learn useful phrases to be able to hold conversations as well as everyday vocabulary to answer and respond to questions asked to you.
